That’s why you must eat a wide variety of organic vegetables, spices, and more. Here’s a list of candida-friendly foods that have anti-fungal properties low in sugar: algae, garlic, turmeric, pumpkin seeds, lemon, cinnamon, ginger, onions, and olive oil.
Additionally, it’s important to get plenty of cruciferous veggies, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts. An abundance of water is necessary, of course, along with green or herbal tea.

Remember that phase one in the candida fight is starving off your existing yeast population. That means you’ll have to adhere to this diet for two weeks or more. It’s very important you plan in advance to ensure you get adequate nutrition while not straying off the list.
- 2Take care of your liver. If you’ve done five minutes of reading on candida, you know liver detoxes and cleanses are frequently recommended. After all, your liver is the primary organ responsible for clearing toxins, and doesn’t it need some help?
